Another great American-style restaurant is Mountain Center Fork, and Spoon which is dedicated to supplying great food and quality service. From their delicious burgers, sandwiches, and various breakfast options, you’ll leave full and satisfied. Their outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying your meal amidst the gorgeous natural surroundings.

Things To Do
Hurkey Creek Park is a fantastic park with plenty for the whole family to do. Whether you want to hike through the beautiful nature and gardens, take the kids to the playground and playspaces, or spend a weekend camping out under the stars. The Living Free Animal Sanctuary is more than just a place for rescued animals. In addition, they also house various animals on their property to assist veterans as they adjust to civilian life. You can tour the facilities and meet some of the animals who reside there. The Lake Hemet Campground is surrounded by the San Jacinto Mountains giving visitors a truly breathtaking experience. The area offers hiking trails, playgrounds, fishing, and other water activities. There is a rental area where you can rent a boat, kayak, and other items. If you have a pair of binoculars, you might even catch sight of some bald eagles soaring through the mountains.
There are tons of hiking trails ranging in difficulty, each offering beautiful sights in the natural surroundings. Some of the more popular hiking trails are Dunn Road which spans 15.55 miles, Cactus Spring Trail which spans 31.73 miles, and Horsethief Creek, which spans 5.08 miles. Any of these will be worth your while to get in some exercise and take in the fantastic views.

While Mountain Center itself doesn’t have any schools to speak of, the surrounding cities like Hemet and Idyllwild have plenty of excellent options.
